Margaret frowned as she looked around, trying to find someone, anyone. She was lost, she had finally admitted it to herself after an hour of walking around trying to find her way back to a place she knew at least. She was getting scared like she always did when she was alone, she was scared of someone attacking her since she had no idea how to defend herself. She sat down on the grass next to a pretty pond, she liked going and just sitting down around ponds and at parks and stuff when she had lived in Hobart but that was her old, old life now. She wondered if anyone would come past and see her, hopefully being able to help her, she really needed help.
She wasn't going to cry of course, she was not going to show weakness even if most likely no one was anywhere around here. She sat there for about ten minutes just resting and trying to think of how to get unlost but failing. She stood up after a while and started pacing, she panicked when ever she was lost. She looked at the pond as she paced, it relaxed her, nature always relaxed her. She started walking off in the direction of which she hoped would lead her to somewhere she knew. Then at least she would stop freaking out and feel safe again, she was starting to wonder why she had wondered off away from the places she knew anyway.

*you were made of beauty, dear, and of silver Angels' wings and damn Demon things, dear.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - It felt amazing, the wind breathing down her neck as she walked about the park. Why hadn't she come here before? She could hear water moving and deduced it to being a pond. Nothing like werewolf hearing to help out a photographer, now if only she had brought her camera - either of them - with her! But that wasn't why she came out to the park. She just needed to cool off, get away from her uncle's rabid lawyers badgering her about what to do with his property back home in Texas.
She really didn't care. If she could she would have given it to the local children's orphanage. But there were so many legal steps and blah blah blah. Whatever! It could just be left there to rot and have children of later generations tell tall tales about it being haunted. Just do something with it. Eden snarled under her breath, readjusting her hat once again. Her dual necklaces clinked together loudly and she maneuvered towards the sound of water.
Her eyes kept glancing around, as if she felt the sudden urge to be on guard - and if instinct told her 'do this!' she'd do it in a heartbeat. Something felt off about this afternoon - or was it later, maybe earlier? She really hadn't paid attention to the time of day when she fled from her condo with keys and wallet in hand, enraged tears falling from her eyes. She picked up on movement, and walked at a faster pace, only to stumble upon a young girl going opposite of her in what appeared to be panic. Automatically, she switched into what her old friends called her "Mama Bear" mode. Motherly instincts overruling werewolf and human ones. Eden slowed down, almost stopping in front of the younger woman to get her to stop. What had happened? She just get separated from her group of friends or was she a runaway?
"Hey? Hey, hun, you ok?"

Margaret was looking at the ground as she started walking, knowing her she'd probably trip over, she was clumsy when she was in a bad mood but she wasn't sure if werewolves could be clumsy. She was so new to this, she'd only been a werewolf for about six weeks. She heard footsteps and her head flew up in surprise. She saw a girl that looked a few years older than herself. The girl looked like she was either in her late teens or early twenties. She looked kind enough and she had the werewolf sense, Margaret didn't know how but she kind of knew the girl was a werewolf. She smiled weakly at the girl as she asked if Marg was ok.
She felt relieved that someone had came here and found her but she also felt the scared feeling she always felt around other people. She didn't know it in her conscious mind but somewhere in the back of her head she knew that she was in a way scared of people, not just anti-social like she always thought. But at least she was doing the right thing, to get over a fear you need to face it. So starting to try and socialize was going to help her get over her fear but she would also have to admit to herself the fear or she would never get over it. It would take her at least a year to completely get over it so it was going to be a slow process, but she would be so much happier without that scared feeling every time she was around other people.
"Hi, um, not really, I'm lost." She told the girl, looking down right after speaking. She really should have asked Maia to show her around so something like this wouldn't have happened but she didn't want to bother the girl. "And I'm Margaret." She looked down as she spoke this time, she really had trouble talking to people, because she was "anti-social". God, she'd better admit to herself that she was scared of people and stop blaming all this on something that was way less worse.

*you were made of beauty, dear, and of silver Angels' wings and damn Demon things, dear.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Eden smiled softly, lost. In the philosophical sense, she was too. But she kept that little quip to herself. She watched the girl for a moment and the relaxed, she was just like her - werewolf. She tried to emanate calmness as she moved just a bit closer, wanting to show she meant no harm she grinned. It felt nice to just grin and not have a client look at her oddly. Even if the younger girl did, at least she still had something to grin about.
"Nice to meet ya Margret. I'm Eden, or Edee, if ya like."
She was sort of glad for her "Mama Bear" mode sometimes. Even if she hardly acted on impulses - unless it came to jelly beans or photography, she could at least trust herself to act sort of like a mother. Looking, around quickly Eden noticed the path her shoes had made when she had rushed over to Margret.
"Ah! I think I came in from over there. ..Er, wait. That mighta been it too... Aw, hell." she muttered, twisting to look for some sort of sembelance to her pathway. Luckily, her Texan-hick accent covered up the world hell, making it sound similiar to hail. She didn't want to be the one to teach another person 'sailor speak'.
Her eyes widened just a bit more and Eden felt like bashing her head into a tree trunk several times over. It just wouldn't do for the both of them to be lost. Wouldn't go at all. Stepping back two steps, Eden frowned, they both were stuck in the park - and her without her gps TomTom! Wait! Didn't cell phones have a gps thing too? Oh, right. That was to track you not where you were.
"I cannot believe it!"

Margaret smiled as the girl introduced herself, the name seemed weird to her but a lot of names seemed weird to her so she of course wasn't going to say anything, that would be kinda rude anyway. The girl, Eden was grinning and that made her seem kinder but Marg frowned when she heard the girl mutter. They couldn't both be lost, that would be so annoying and it would of course start her panicking once again. She noticed the girl had a Texan accent and smiled a little, she herself had an annoying Aussie accent but she hated it. She looked around, only seeing the peaceful pond and surrounding park that was really nice, maybe if she concerntrated on the beautiful, peaceful park she wouldn't panic again.
"So, we're both lost?" She asked quietly, smiling slightly. It was a little funny she had to admit that the person that had found her is now as lost as her. She giggled softly then sat down on the grass again. She searched her pockets and found a small notebook but that was all she had, not even a pen. Seriously, who carries round a notebook and no pen? She sighed putting it back in her pocket and just looking out at the pond, it seemed so peaceful but she had a feeling it wasn't as peaceful as it looked. She wondered what lived in, under or around it that was giving her that feeling.

*you were made of beauty, dear, and of silver Angels' wings and damn Demon things, dear.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Eden frowned, hating the sensation of feeling lost. It was like being at her first school play with no one there to praise her for how well she butchered Peter Pan's lines. She heaved what had to be her fortieth sigh that moment and looked around some more.
"I didn't mean to get us both lost, Margret. I'm sorry." She chewed on the inside of her bottom lip as she continued perusing the pathways, nothing looked or smelled right. She narrowed her dark eyes, trying to see if there was anything, anything, that looked somewhat like something she would have noticed on her way over to the girl.
"We should try this way, it sounds closer to city life then anywhere else." she mentioned pointing with her left index and middle finger off northeast of them. Sure, it might have been pointless, but at least it was better to start moving again then getting attacked by something. Eden started toward where she had pointed but stopped unsure if the younger girl would follow. The strong need to strike up a conversation hit her and she smiled softly. "So what were ya doing out here anyways?"

Margaret looked up at the girl when she apologised, she didn't get why people apologised for things they didn't do. It was technically Marg's fault that they were both lost so why was Eden apologising? That was one of the things she would never understand. "It's ok, I guess it was kinda my fault anyway." She said then stood up again. She could never sit still when she panicked, pacing was what she usually did and that's what she started doing now. She was about to follow the girl, well even if it was the wrong way they would have a better chance trying to find a way back to a place they knew then sitting down and hoping someone would come past, when the girl stopped.
She asked why Marg had been out here in the first place, that she was still trying to work out. She guessed she had just wanted to explore but that wasn't like her, she was usually more careful but if there was a nice park around she always seemed to find it. "I guess I just wanted to explore the area." She answered then shrugged, it was one of the two reasons she could think of so she wasn't really lying. "What 'bout you?" She asked, wondering why the girl had came out here, she seemed smarter than Marg. She looked down and gained a sudden interest in her charm bracelet.
