Maia, being a werewolf, is very fast. She could outrun just about anyone, in her wolf form that is. She is also strong and tough, Maia can deal with anything or anyone that comes her way. But because she's a lycanthrope, the full moon affects her greatly and silver affects her even more. Yet her greatest fear, and weakness, is her deceased older brother Daniel. He taunted and tormented her all throughout her life until the day he died. Sometimes it's hard for Maia to remember that he's gone...
My History
Maia grew up as a biracial in a conservative neighborhood with her mother, father, and older brother Daniel. As they were growing up Daniel picked on Maia a lot. He played pranks and even broke her arm once. Maia tried to tell her parents, but who would believe that beautiful Daniel could hurt a fly? When he was instantly killed by a hit-and-run driver, Maia was secretly grateful. She didn't think anyone could hurt her as much as he did.
Next year though, she was proved wrong when she met Jordan. At first Maia thought she was lucky that of all the girls, Jordan had picked her.
[/b] But after a few months he became possessive and angry, slapping her across the face when he got mad. Maia tried to break up with him, but Jordan didn't seem to get it so, she let him see her kissing another guy.(Jessica Szohr)

When he was instantly killed by a hit-and-run driver, Maia was secretly grateful. She didn't think anyone could hurt her as much as he did.
Next year though, she was proved wrong when she met Jordan. At first Maia thought she was lucky that of all the girls, Jordan had picked her.
Later that night, Maia was attacked by a huge hairy wolf-like creature. The doctors said that the bite looked like a large dogs but they hadn't heard what was whispered in her ear-"You're mine now. You'll always be mine." She had almost suspected it, when on the next full moon pains started racing up and down her legs and forced her to the ground. She woke up miles away from home and covered in blood. That night she got on the train to Manhattan to find a pack. It hadn't been hard, there were several around. She ended up with the downtown one, who slept in the old police station in Chinatown. Her life might not be ideal, but it's her life, and she's come to terms with that.
Roleplay Sample
Maia woke disgruntled and groggy on the floor of the police station, she must have made it back sometime during the night. It had been a full moon and Maia had hunted into the later hours. She could focus on the fuzzy details if she wished but, preferred not to. It was bad enough to actually eat the animals, and Maia definitely did not[/i] want to remember how it had happened. Regular food might not fill as much as the animals did but still, it was way gross.
To take her mind of raw animal meat, Maia started getting ready for her day. She had to work today and she was already running a little late. Luke would definitely understand the reason for her tardiness but Maia hated being late, it threw her whole day off. So she hurriedly put on jeans, a shirt, and shoes then ran out the door. It was time for another day in the fabulous life of Maia Roberts.
