K:anode didn't like her description too much. She made it sound like a war. It made sense though. "Hmm.. sounds nice though..."He mumbled, half to himself, "Somewhere like Idiris, I mean. No silly little mundanes -and in your case, no Downworlders either."He added, his eyes looking off at the skyline of the Institute. He would have turned to ask her how long she was going to be here for, but seeing the look on her face, he decided to leave it. Seemed she rather be home.
"That's pretty... pretty."He said when they'd gotten closer to the Institute, the detailed beginning to come into view. But old school. Seemed the kind of place vampires would hang out.

Arianna nodded. "It is nice. It's beautiful there. Especially Alicante. There aren't any mundanes, but they aren't so bad, really. And there are Downworlders there, actually. Maybe not in the Glass City itself, or maybe the Council members live there? I'm not sure. But there are packs of werewolves, warlocks, vampires...And I'm pretty sure the Fair Folk have a stake in Lake Lyn." she said, and sighed.
"I miss it." she admitted, "But for now, this is home." She cast her gaze up at the Institute, the edifice which now dominated her vision and at whose gate they now stood. It was pretty, in a turn-of-the-century sort of way. "You think this is nice, you oughta see the garden, especially on a night like this." The green house was filled with a variety of rare and exotic plants, and there were some that only bloomed at night, or on a full moon.
The young Nephilim looked to K:anode. "Well, thanks for walking me home."

K:anode was a little surprised that downworlders would be welcome to Alicante. He'd imagined it to be some "holy" type place, where only shadowhunters could go. No evil creatures allowed there kind of place. All full of light and pretty flowers. Daisies. And maybe pansies.
"Huh? Never heard of that kind."He was suddenly brought back to the conversation. He only caught the last bit of what she said -about night blooming flowers. He smirked. "They only show their true selves at The Witching Hour?"He added. Those flowers sounded nice. He liked flowers enough -just so long as he didn't touch them of course. Then they just made him hate both them and himself. More so the latter.
"Oh, no problem."He replied, leaving out that he half expected to otherwise get the blame for any Nephilim which were unaccounted for. He could really live without that. "Maybe I'll see you around again.... Let me know if you find out any more about that attack."
